Nice to have all the Christmas shows in one place. These 1970s Christmas variety shows definitely appeal to a particular audience. I saw these as a kid growing up because my parents loved Sonny and Cher and they have always been among my favorites as well in the classic Pop and Rock and Roll genres. I have other Sonny and Cher DVD collections, and am pleased that more are available now for streaming on Amazon Prime Video, I have those too, but this Christmas collection will be among our go to, must watch videos for this upcoming holiday season.

This edition of SONNY AND CHER's 3 Christmas episodes is unique in that it includes shows from a variety of SEASONS and DIFFERENT formats of their programs together. Some while married and I believe, one not married. The theme, of course is the magical Holiday of CHRISTMAS! Many guest stars are included and carols that will never grow old sung by them as well as Sonny and Cher. The most gorgeous version of O HOLY NIGHT is performed by CHER! The BOB MACKIE gowns she wears and the other costumes he creates adds almost as much as the music and comedy! Despite these 3 sows being CHRISTMAS themed, I watch them year 'round and CRY EVERY TIME! I have had the EXTREME PLEASURE of meeting SONNY AND CHER once in 1973 when HALF BREED was 3 weeks from reaching #1 on BILLBOARD'S HOT 100. Then I met CHER 3 more times, through her best friend (and former secretary [my friend]). The 1st time I saw her, she was like a like a fragile china doll, so tiny and thin, I was afraid I would break her if I hugged her! Then she became the first singer in history to have a #1 single in EACH of SIX CONSECUTIVE DECADES on a BILLBOARD SINGLES CHART! You will love them both on this DVD! I guarantee it!

Oh My Gosh! I loved Sonny and Cher and their TV show. I remember I would never miss it. You have to remember that back then... you didn't have these network conglomerates with a gazillion channels; plus the internet and all it has to offer. Probably seems like a boring lifestyle. But really you know thing where soooo much nicer back then. People actually talked to each other. You nit only knew you next door neighbors but you most likely knew everybody who lived on your street... at least for a couple blocks. Anyway Sonny and Cher were a wonderful addition to my evening. This DVD is a nice trip down memory lane. Go ahead and buy it. You'll never regret it. It's like the old lady says when you ask... what do you regret. She says one never regrets what he/she did do.... only the things he/she did not do become regrets. So there you have it folks. Do not delay... go ahead and buy it. Do it today.. Do it NOW!!

Enjoyed this trek back to my childhood days when times were simple and variety shows ruled the networks. I now get to revisit these three Christmas specials annually. A treasured little time capsule for my own pleasure.

its sonny and cher so thats good on its own. but all in all its just ok. Still hopin for the cher show to be on dvd at some point
