Its super resilient, Nitricell sponge base is a PVC/Nitrile rubber blend that offers immediate rebound and unparalleled support and comfort during long, strenuous shifts. Depend on WeldSafe to out-perform traditional anti-igue matting in spot-welding applications. Now available in a UltraSoft version that has a double thick 7/8" Nitricell sponge base. For use in dry welding areas. Weldsafe’s durable rubber surface repels sparks and hot metal shards while its Nitricell sponge base provides premium comfort and resilience. (Not for use around slag.) While many people had previously thought that mats could not be used in welding areas, now WeldSafe offers a solution to standing worker igue. Test specifications and results are MVSS 302 Flammability (surface) - "A" rating. Cleaning recommendations: Sweep regularly or dry mop the surface. These mats can be wet mopped with mild soap or detergent.
